Custom Clearance / Import tax
US:
We ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) to the U.S. At checkout you’ll see the line “Tax and charges” which covers required U.S. import taxes, customs clearance, and carrier handling, so you get one all-in price with no surprise bills on delivery (this is not U.S. sales tax). You won’t be asked to pay anything on delivery; if a courier requests payment in error, don’t pay: contact us and we’ll resolve it. The “Tax and charges” amount can vary because it reflects current U.S. import rules for your order and shipping method; we bundle everything upfront so your parcel clears quickly and arrives without extra charges. These charges are generally non-refundable on returns because they’re paid during import; product refunds follow our standard returns policy.

US Customs and Border Protection: E-Commerce Frequently Asked Questions
Are U.S. import tariffs/duties on my order tax-deductible?
No. U.S. federal import duties/tariffs on personal purchases aren’t deductible on your federal tax return. For businesses, import duties are not a separate deduction; they’re generally added to the cost of the goods and recovered through cost of goods sold (or capitalized into the asset’s basis and recovered via depreciation). Source.
We’re a charity/non-profit buying equipment. Are import duties waived?
No. U.S. customs duties are not waived just because the buyer is a charity or other non-profit. Duties still apply unless a shipment qualifies for a specific statutory exemption, which is not the case for this type of equipment.
International (non US): If you order from outside the European Union (EU), you may have to pay custom clearance duties and taxes in your country. This depends on the country in question. Please check with the customs clearance authorities in your country if any costs apply and how much they will be. These costs are beyond control as they are regulated by your own country.

Please note that in some cases, the customs clearance process may delay the shipment of your package.
